Ethical and Moral Issues In Business

To work in the business world for yourself or for an employer and be respected and make an income can be done by having excellent moral and ethical practices. Ethics and morals are used in everyday life and are also used in business. The definition is “the behavior having to do with what is good and bad with moral duty and obligation”, (merriam-webster’s), according to Webster’s.  The definition of business ethics is the codes of rules and values that make decisions in any company.

The business world has two kinds of problems. They are ethical and moral. Morals in the business world deals with any kind of help or harm to a person. in making decisions it can mean the assault to someone, stealing from someone and other harmful things. It can also mean to buy clothing or food for a person and to do other helpful things. Ethics in the business world can help to solve problems and situations that need to be helped. Ethics in business can also evaluate the situations and come up with an unethical or ethical solution. In business, everyone is trying to beat out the next guy and most people will do anything to be number one.
