Description:
You are required to write a case note about the following case: NDRW and Minister for Home Affairs (Migration) [2018] AATA 2144 (6 July 2018)
The purpose of a case note is to critically analyse the significance of a judgment from a legal and societal perspective. You may agree or disagree with the approach taken by the court but your analysis must be supported by primary and secondary sources. Your answer should consider the implications of the decision for the development of the area/s of migration law considered in the case.
Please note that there are many examples of case notes available online. They are mainly from law firms, which provide updates about significant decisions for their clients and consider the implications of these decisions. In this assignment, you are required to do more than simply describe the facts and the outcome (see the marking criteria at the end of this document).
