SPARX plc is a fairly large electrical goods manufacturer. It has 30 sites of various sizes spread across Great Britain and is considering expanding abroad.
The Company is divided into four Regions – Southern England, Northern England, Scotland and Wales. Each Region has a Regional Manager who reports to the Operations Director.
Each site has its own Site Manager. The Site Managers report to the relevant Regional Managers. Each site is organised into departments; there are certain departments which are found at all sites, but some departments are only found at the larger sites (for example Research).
