Students will prepare a research paper on a topic relevant to the process of recovery from
given traumatic event to highlight effectiveness of coping strategies and support used by
survivors. Students will receive specific guidelines to complete this individual assignment.
The write-up must follow APA style and should include summary of three empirical
research articles, critical evaluation and overall personal comments on the topic. Students
will not be allowed to incorporate articles/information that they have used before for other
assignments in this course. Details of this assignment will be discussed in the class.

Length of Research write-up: Maximum 12 pages (including references)
