The research proposal should demonstrate and outline the recent rapid growth of arbitrations and alternate dispute resolution in the Middle East in a wide comparison to the western more developed countries with more developed legal systems. the proposal should highlight that even though most of the legal systems of countries in the middle east are quite similar, the reality in applying the laws and the culture of dealing with arbitration break differently in each country. the research will be demonstrating the difference in the law application with regard to arbitration in those countries (so mostly a practical view), and what are the factors that played a role in shifting the middle eastern countries towards leaning more and more toward alternate dispute resolution.
